Dear Fans Friends:
First of all, thanks so much for arriving at my new website. As you can see, I'm jumping to it to assemble something of interest for you to look at. Within a short while, I will have the website completed.

In the meantime, I want to express my thanks for all your support the last 11 years in attending and enjoying my Old Smoky Hoedown show. It was with a bruised heart, that I made the decision to close the beloved production. The lease on our theater was up this season. The owners of the property were wanting to sign an 11 year lease on the theater. With an extremely high rent that I was paying, coupled with no money to market the show because of the rent, and uneven business the last few seasons, the decision was made not to renew the lease for such an extended period of time. It's a shame that business has to get in the way of having fun.

For the 2007 season, I will be making my faces and dancing crazy up the road at The Comedy Barn. It is my hope, within the next year or two, to once again have my own production where blessings are musical and laughter is abundant. Please come by and visit the next time you visit the Smoky Mountains.

Your Pal,

"Elwood Smooch"
